Few Words About OrtsaSailing

Ortsasailing MCPY and DML MCPY are family owned sister companies based in Greece, having a fleet of 5 modern monohull sailing boats and 1 catamaran built in France.Our mission is to provide bareboat charters in Greece and offer high quality service through our well maintained fleet.
The company was founded in 2009 but its members, with more than 30 years of experience in the field in their own businesses, manage to keep their boats in good condition and high standards.
The founding members , Luciana Alafragis and Dimitris Logothetis have a deep knowledge of the yachting market as owners and are personally engaged in the chartering, operation and maintenance of their boats.

Dimitris Logothetis

Co Founder

Dimitris Logothetis, holding a Diploma in Management from the University of Glamorgan, has a long-term knowledge of the shipping industry and has been employed by Greek shipping companies since 1991. Being also a sailor and RYA Yachtmaster he is experienced enough so that to provide his advise and assistance to fellow sailors

Luciana Alafragis

Co Founder

Luciana Alafragis is in the yacht charter business since 1983 following her father’s family venture, and afterwards has been employed as chartering manager in reputable charter companies in Greece.

Dialekti (Lina) Logotheti Alafragis

Customer Host Manager

Dialekti ( Lina ) Logotheti Alafragis holds a BSc in Business Administration from Metropolitan University in London, is responsible for welcome of clients all formalities and administration.

Michael Logothetis

Yacht Maintenance Manager

Michael Logothetis is a student at Technological institute of Athens involved in operations and maintenance of our yachts.

Last but not least, here is my feedback. Last summer, I booked a sailing boat with my friends with Ortsasailing, and I must say we have been very pleased by the professionalism of the team. The Oceanis 38 was in good shape (name “Audacious”), and fun to sail in summer conditions. About the fun part, I forgot my passeport the last day in the boat, and Dimitris was kind enough to bring it to me with his scooter, when I was just about to leave to the airport !!! Thanks again, and sorry for this late review I would recommend without any doubt.

Ortsa Sailing is maybe the very charter company in Greece! They are a small family run business. The attention to details is most important for them. The boat are perfectly ship-shape maintained. I would highly recommend them for the best bare-boat sailing holiday!
